What is PUENTE?
PUENTE by Cowboy CMO is Montana Legacy Media Group’s bilingual business and cultural publishing initiative. Rooted in Livingston, it connects English- and Spanish-speaking communities through useful business education, cultural perspectives, and local stories.

The simplest connection is a menu item or card linking to either language edition. These links work on any website:

The bilingual introduction card’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are in the repository’s integration/ directory. When placing the card on a different domain, use absolute Montana Legacy Media URLs for its links, artwork, stylesheet, and script. Its language controls affect only the card.

Article updates and scheduling
Automatic article updates and scheduling are active. Commits to the main branch trigger publication, and scheduled checks publish articles when they become due.
The private GitHub repository is the source for bilingual articles. Edit the English and Spanish content, commit the change to main, and the publishing workflow updates the PUENTE section on Montana Legacy Media.
Articles marked draft are withheld. Articles marked scheduled require a publication timestamp with a timezone offset. The scheduled workflow publishes them when they become due, without another manual deployment.
The workflow checks approximately every 15 minutes. GitHub may delay a scheduled run; publication occurs on the next successful check after the specified time. A calendar plan alone does not schedule publication: the article must include its status and timestamp in the source data.
The integration updates PUENTE, its homepage card, and its menu connection. Other Montana Legacy Media pages and assets are preserved from the current live deployment. No visitor tracking is added.
